Battle of Fort Casey

Tia Durer, nickname "Trig", was a sniper from the Roughnecks A-01 Team in the Mobile Infantry.

History

Trig joined the Battle of Fort Casey along with her companions from the A-01 team. She stayed outside the Fort Casey to provide support by taking down Warrior Bugs with her sniper rifle. She saved Bugspray, the K-12 acting commander, from a Warrior Bug during the evacuation.

When the troopers left the fort and boarded the FAS Alesia, she jumped to the ship and Bugspray gave her a hand to pull her to the ship while Ice Blonde asked her how many did she killed today.

Later on board the ship, when Bugspray was trying to find and get in his room, he found the room was locked. Trig, who lived in the room across the hallway, came out and helped him to open the door. However, there was no bed, so Trig invited Hacks to her room. After a conversation, Bugspray had sex with her. After, Trig told him her story and the rifle she used. Trig swore to avenge her parents' death by using the rifle her parents made. She counted every Bugs she killed.

A while later, they entered the conference room together and every troopers cheered for them.

Trig later joined the search for the missing ship, the John A. Warden as part of Team-01 along with Lieutenant Daughety, Ice Blonde, Mech, and Shock Jock. Her team was to take Captain Ibanez to the bridge. Before the mission, Trig asked Bugspray to bury her rifle at her home town if she died. Bugspray replied that he asked she not to die.

After the ship was found, they realized it had been taken over by the Queen Bug. The Bugs destroyed the Alesia and prepared heading to Earth.

Trig volunteered to take down the Queen and went into the vent without her armor. She turned down Bugspray's help because as he couldn't fit in the air vent. After arriving Queen's chamber, she failed to killed the Bug, however, she shot several Queen's links and temporarily disable the Queen's control of the John A. Warden. This allowed Captain Ibanez able to avoid the ship crashed in the city of Paris.

However, Trig was spotted by the Bugs. She had to left the vent, only to face the overwhelming Warrior Bugs and got killed. Her body was found by Bugspray and he used her rifle to kill Bugs, holding the line for Major Varro before he died. Starship Troopers: Invasion

Notes

  • Trig's hometown was destroyed by Bugs with plasma bomb. Since the Bugs haven't attacked Earth directly so far, it is possibly she was born on an outer colony.
