Dominant Species appears to follow on from the first film as it has a battle on Klendathu which isn't the first battle so presumably is the second since it is seen being invaded by the UCF at the end of the first film, but Insect Touch is a prequel being set 30 years before the film showing the first contact between the UCF and Arachnids. Can't say about Brute Creations just yet as I haven't gotten around to reading it fully.
I have been reading into the Bots on the admin panel, but it won't let me add it to that account. May be that its something over myhead here that I am just failing to understand. Just made you a Bureaucrat so if you have a better understanding of this go ahead.
As for the Bot, I can't add either, so I sent a mail to Wikia staff. They told me that I have to ask the admin or community for agree, so I have to post a request in Community Portal for the confirmation of admin(s).
Category:OVA universe was deleted last month but there are pages under it and nothing connecting them to the central wiki category tree so I am wondering if it would be possible to undelete so I can tag it with Category:Universes.
Well 3rd Regiment "Pampered Pets" would be the more accurate one. Personally I would name the page Pampered Pets then on the first line of the page have it written "The 3rd Mobile Infantry Regiment "Pampered Pets" ". As for the naming of Regiments in the US I honestly do not know if the US regiments have Ranger in their names or not unfortunally.
Well judging by the descriptions of the Wildcats ("Company K, Third Regiment, First M.I. Division") and Roughnecks in the novel they are units named in a similar fashion to the Pampered Pets except that they are both a company. The larger units don't appear to have personalised names for the units from what I read. Can't find the mention of the Pampered Pets in the novel atm so hard to say. Do you know which chapter in the novel the Pampered Pets are mentioned?
Ok I see it now. It seems each unit of each size has an name. So its the 1st M.I. Division (10,000-30,000 sized unit named "Polaris") with the 3rd Regiment in it (normally sized 1,500 called "Pampered Pets") of which the Wildcats (company strength 80-225) and the Roughnecks (also a company) are a part of officially. But, due to the war the 3rd Regiment actually consists of Two brigades (3,000-5,000 men each) in actuality, but not officially. As this is the M.I. from the novel the numbers of men are vastly less in every unit but I used the numbers as an example.
So The wildcats and Roughnecks are both under the Pampered Pets unit, and Pampered Pets unit along with every other unit in the 1st M.I. Division are also called Polaris.
Well there was no references to Deladier in Invasion. Not that I heard. Well I changed it from Deladier Rake to Captain Deladier is that she is never called Rake. Captains are also called by their surnames and as such if her name was Rake she would be Captain Rake not Captain Deladier. Deladier is based off a character from the novel of the same name as a surname. Just because they are sisters doesn't mean they have the same surname. One might be married, or have legally changed their surname. Basicly the surname Rake for the captain is just speculation not fact so can't be used for the article.
Simply due to them being pretty irrelevant and I don't see the point of them other than to clutter the charboxes up a bit. those things don't really add to anything and the profile pics show you what they look like anyways.
Hello, I remember in the Talk:Queen_Bug_(disambiguation) (now deleted, perhaps you can check via Special:Undelete), there is a discussion about whether some of the entries don't need to created separate pages for film version, novel version. or TV version.
The decision back the was to merge all those page, that's why pages like Queen, Plasma Bug, Tanker Bug, Warrior Bug were merged into one. However, I see you've restored pages like Queen Bug (film).
It is somehow confused since two admins have two different opinions. I think the community may need to start a discussion (or even a poll) about this?
Hey Redentor10 Thanks for welcoming me back. Sorry for leaving for so long. Was under alot of stress from University at the time, though shouldn't have left it so long getting back on. I'm good, just between university courses at the mean time so got alot of free tim currently until I can get some employment. On the plus side I got to be an extra on GOT this year so that was great fun (can't talk about any details unfortunally however). The Wiki is looking pretty good. Glad to see the comunity is still updating it with the new info. Watched Invasion just recently and quite enjoyed the film.
I'm very fine. Here in Tucuman the people is burning (like 40°C). But I kicked all the school subjects and I am enjoying holidays. Actually I have no words to describe how fascinating it is Starship Troopers: Invasion. Really man. I will still working on the wiki. See you in the work.
Well your weather sounds alot nicer than mine. Its currently about -2 C in Northern Ireland currently. Pretty dull and misrable here this time of year, but it is the middle of winter after all. Yea I was quite impressed with Invasion. Loved how the Opening of it was a direct quote from the Novel and how they kept it looking in line with both the films and the desriptions in the novel. I'll try to get back to editting more often again so I show see you plenty here :)
