Djana'D was a recruit in the Mobile Infantry in Camp Currie. She joined the Mobile Infantry as she wanted to go into politics after completing Federal Service.
History[]
Djana was a member of the Mobile Infantry recruit depot at Camp Currie. During the initial muster with Career Sergeant Zim, she was impressed with Dizzy Flores spunk and willingness to take on Zim during a melee combat. Djana criticized Ace's antics during morning chow. Later, while the platoon was using the co-ed showers, Kitten Smith initiated an informal interview of his fellow trainees during which Djana'D revealed wanting to go into politics and that a politcal career required attaining citizenship.
During a live-fire training exercise, fellow recruit Breckinridge, against range regulations, removed his helmet due to an alleged malfunction. Simultaneously, Djana'D was struck by a training beam, causing her M.I.L.E.S.-equipped body armour to give her a paralyzing electrical shock which had the unfortunate side-effect of seizing up her trigger finger and involuntarily fire a burst, a round of which struck Breckenridge in his unprotected head, killing him instantly. Though based on where the entry wounds were on Breckinridge the helmet would have made little to no difference in his death.
The trauma provoked by this incident led to her decision to sign Form 12-40-A and quit. Crying, regretting what she had done, seeing all her hopes and dreams dashed, and fearing that she would be arrested when she returned, she walked down Washout Lane with Johnny Rico looking at her with a worried expression on his face. - Djana'D is the equivalent of Ted Hendrick from the Novel universe, who joins the service in order to go into politics but gets discharged from the boot camp.
- It was never revealed if Djana'D voluntarily resigned and signed her release form, or if the Camp Currie Commanding Officer ordered her dismissal.
