Bill Rico was the father of Johnny Rico.
History[]
When Johnny expressed interest in joining the Federal Service, Bill and his wife tried to persuade him not to. They even invited him on a trip to Zegema Beach. However, Johnny enlists and is cut off by his father.
After the death of Breckinridge, Johnny decides to quit the Mobile Infantry and calls his parents before he leaves. After Bill says "We love you, son", a Bug Meteor slams into Buenos Aires, killing them both. Johnny then decides to stay in the Mobile Infantry.
