Cliffmite Bug.

Looking like giant dust mites with the size of a dog, the Cliffmite Bugs pose more of an annoyance rather than threat. They will burrow into walls and leap out at enemies, trying to encase them so they can devour them. They will also rip hooks and lines out of walls, their most dangerous tactic as this usually seriously impedes, even imperils, human soldiers. They can climb vertically and at any angle.

Cliff Mites! Rock spitters

Cliff Mites are snipers uitilized by the Arachnids during the First Bug War. Cliff Mites live in the rocks of planets and pop out to attack Mobile Infantry. Cliff Mites swallow pebbles and heat them to shoot at MI troops which can be lethal. Cliff Mites make excellent snipers and are tough to kill without a sniper rifle and have killed several MI troopers. To overcome this, many troopers have learned of Cliff Mites and can dodge their attacks. The ideal method of killing Mites is to use the Morital Mk. 2 Sniper Rifle. Snipe the snipers! The sniper rifle helped clear infested areas of Cliff Mites during the Battle of Hesperus.

At the end of the battle, all Cliff Mites were killed to capture the planet's Brain Bug and win total victory.
