Starship Troopers Films
Just to clear up some confusion, the Moritas seen in Invasion and Traitor of Mars should be considered the Mk. IV series. For some bizarre reason the mobile game Starship Troopers: Invasion - Mobile Infantry had the Morita from Invasion listed as Mk. I, and the SAW variant listed as Mk. III. Given that we've already had Moritas Mk. I, II, & III from the first three films; I think it's safe to say that the mobile game got it wrong and should not be considered accurate. Therefore I think we can agree that the Moritas from Invasion and Traitor of Mars are indeed the Mk. IV series even if there hasn't been any official confirmation, and I've updated the articles to reflect that. Unfortunately the most recent games Terran Command and Extermination also got the naming wrong (presumably from the incorrect information from the mobile game and possibly even this wiki). So hopefully after fixing the articles here the recent games will also fix the names to be more accurate to the lore.

I hope we will see another Cgi Starship Troopers movie directed by Shinji Aramaki in the near future.
Those movie stylistically are very cool i like the look of the power armor and the ships in those film. And hopefully the tone and style will be more like Invasion instead of Traitor of Mars. I don't like how the latest one has a very "green" cast (except for Rico) and a few dumb moments that detract from the main story of the film. It's about time they do something about that Warrior Bug surviving in France Sewer at the end credit of Invasion.

Especially with the modern tech of today (
Unreal Engine, Quake engine or Source). Imagine hundreds of bugs on screen as you hold the line against that swarm with a massive turret. It’d be amazing. Play as Mobile Infantry into harder and harder missions, upgrading your kit and skills as you go along until you inevitably meet your fate (or maybe succeed who knows).
hey, I keep hearing about a "recon bug" that's said to appear in the first film on the widescreen edition. Don't know much other than it "looks like a dragonfly." I can't find screengrabs, pictures or concept art of it anywhere, and mentioning of it is very rare. Is this bug even real? Did somebody just make it up to lead fans on a wild goose chase? I'd really like to know if anybody knows about the recon bug.
Is "Phid" somehow related to "Aphid" (bug)? It might make more of a connection if she was somehow under bug mind control, but that isn't the apparent case in the movie.
So I seen the comics are part of the film universe and are pretty cheap to get. Bought a few so I and add the info from them. Gona take a while as they are coming from the US and I'm in the UK. Hopefully some good info in them.
